Zachary S. - 16. Spina Bifida. Zachary hopes to play wheelchair basketball in college. He admires the leadership and drive of Dirk Nowitzki and the character and teamwork of Leo Messi & Tim Howard.  Zachary wants to be an engineer involved in producing high tech wheelchairs when he grows up.

Hope in Action - Donations Needed

Just like a child outgrows a pair of shoes, these young athletes have outgrown the sport wheelchairs they have used over the years.  Most sport wheelchairs range from $3,000 - $5,000 per chair.
Let's join together and help their young dreams come true.

Efren H. - 16.  Arthrogryposis, Scoliosis, Clubfeet.  Efren hopes to win a national championship with his varsity basketball team this year, The Dallas Jr. Wheelchair Mavericks. He is also working hard to achieve a scholarship to play wheelchair basketball in college.  He admires his coach and hopes one day to represent his country in the Paralympics.  Efren then wants to help others as an athletic trainer and maybe even go into politics!

Jose C. - 13. Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus.  Jose wants to become a better basketball player and stay more active.  He admires his teammates because they never give up and he hopes to be a police officer one day. On May 17, 2015 Jose received the very first Sports Wheelchair donated by The Rolling Futures Foundation. We are so very excited to see our HOPE IN ACTION!!
